Mega Man 5 Weakness Chains

Okay, I’ve noticed that many people don’t understand too many of the weaknesses in most of the later Mega Man games. Although I’m drawing a series based on my theories, I’ve been rather busy with college work to draw all of them. So let me go ahead and tackle some of the more infamous of the weird weaknesses: Mega Man 5.

Napalm Man and Crystal Eye

Napalm Man is a living weapon, having two arm cannons, a set of missile launchers on his shoulders and a rocket chamber around the top of his head. Crystal Eye can split into three crystals, potentially jamming three of the larger cannons. That, and the bouncing crystals are in the perfect trajectory to hit Napalm Man while jumping.

Wave Man and Charge Kick

“What? Waves can’t get hurt by kicks!”

Maybe not, but the best way to avoid being pulled under by a gigantic crashing wave is to duck under it.

Also Wave Man may have a heavy build, causing him to fall hard after a good kick to his legs.

Star Man and Water Wave

Technically there are no fire weapons in Mega Man 5, but stars are hot plasma from space. Even if it’s not true star generation, it could be a high wattage creating star-shaped lights, which can be doused/ruined by water.

Star Man is also light, so it only makes sense that he would be pushed by something as swift and massive as a rushing tidal wave! (Look at the other Robot Masters! Only he and Gyro Man are super light!)

Gravity Man and Star Crash

While artificial, stars are still part of outer space: a place where gravity does not truly exist. Also, the stars are thin and hot enough to slice through Gravity Man’s thick frame, thus potentially ruining the artificial gravity control.

How do Gurriko limbs work? We just don’t know.

*dies laughing* Marlon’s poor imitation in this picture is like a mixture of Julius Caesar, Hamlet, and Snuggie-caped Meta Knight… it’s beautiful~ X,DD

Coming back from a place where you relate to no one really makes you appreciate the people you do relate to.

I love you guys~

Love you too, Gemma! *hugs* X3 Really awesome to see you back!

Wherein Gemma had the sudden urge to randomly draw a bunch of people’s OCs. Some fared better than others.
I’ll update this image with a scanned/cleaned up version tomorrow. Must sleep now.

And once again, Labyrynth talks to me—Marlon. XD
Thanks for sketching him! *hugs*

Mum has a good point - I really should draw more backgrounds up before I ink the rest of Hope. No one else can make progress on other stages of the short without them.

Yeah, mum definitely has a point there. Although it’s good to ink a few scenes here and there in between making the backgrounds, it is good to give somethings for the rest of the team to work on to further progress.
